Man, I am so insecure about this category thing.

Anyway--a trip to the beach (Balesin Island, Quezon) led to the usual findings of beach treasures. As I got older, however, laws were passed and tastes changed. I no longer pick up shells from the beaches to take them home. This time around, however, I became fascinated with the concept of broken shells forming something beautiful--with shells the only beauty is perfect beauty, so I did an interesting experiment with bits and pieces I found on the beach. Normally you don't pick up broken bits of shell when the beach can offer you so many nicer, whole ones.

Needless to say, it was a very fun experiment, and I don't even consider myself even an amateur photographer. I'm just a person who likes to make a million different combinations.

I put all the pieces back after photographing them.
